I’m scared that there’s gonna be yet another hot guy in the next Pokémon Violet and Scarlet….or girl for that matter. Like there are a LOT of hotties in Pokémon and it’s crazy. Hell Pokémon got me simping on mah boi Guzma again. Adaman and Volo are VERY pretty bois. Let’s not get STARTED on sword and shield…..I’m scared for the future.

I realized that every time I do art for my fic I can never keep Akari's design straight, so I finally sat down and made a character ref sheet for myself.
Anyways if you happen to be curious about what this is about, I recommend checking out my fanfic Tightening the Hinge, a time-travel fix-it retelling of PLA where an adult Akari is sent back in time by Giratina to redeem Volo through the Power of Friendship. Things begin going sideways immediately. Giratina is not having a good time (but Volo absolutely is).

This alone took 7 hours because the air in my house is unreasonably cold and dry and the clay kept cracking and drying and breaking. I was so close to just giving up. Anyway now he will dry for a few days. Worth it for volo :3
AAAAA I LOVE HIM SO MUCH HES PERFECT!!! one time for a one shot I played volo as a cleric-turned warlock it was so fun. People need to play as their favsies in DND mode it's so fun and it's a great way to understand them better!!
An expy of Volo I made for a DND session. He has amnesia™ and is trying to remember his culture after waking up in a place where it doesn't exist.
Something something you see volo after the temple of sinnoh and he comes back wrong.
You see him again and something is...off. his skin is almost sickly, his eyes are sunken with dark bags under them, when his smiles, his teeth are sharper, more animalistic and his nails are pointy like claws, blackened towards the end. He seems ecstatic, insisting he's fine, great even! But through the strands of his unkept bangs, you can see the cracks forming. And if you look close enough, you can almost see something looming behind him.
