This is amazing. I love it. Like the fact that he is pulling Tomura closer and the Nomus. The fact that it still looks somewhat like a brain. The fact that Tomura looks so scrawny and everything. And also the way darker and duller colors compared to the original.

The right hand of the set of paintings, pointing left. A stag stands on the outstretched index finger, which is wrapped in flowering vines. The hand and arm itself are green, with a large willow tree growing from the wrist, roots hanging onto a sky blue background. Light grey bleeds at the edges of the background from the left. In the shade of the pinky finger, mushrooms grow, and trees cover the base of the forearm. A lake above these trees runs from the mountains on the forearm and spills out as a waterfall onto the background. Birds fly off of the arm underneath the forest.

This was a 2 canvas co-creation by me and my friend Emma, based on Michelangelo’s “The Creation of Adam.” Emma painted the hand of Adam/Humanity on the left, I did the hand of God/Nature on the right.

I spent a pretty long time on mine, and there’s lots of little details that I love.
