Your Curated Tumblr Experience Awaits!
So I haven't actually drawn a person or even person semi shaped thing in a really long time, I'm trying to get back into it but I could use some help? I'm not great at drawing and would love some pointers or any advice if anyone's willing to offer it
A- shot of me attempting to draw a male body- it's not quite right-
I was having a little fun with figure drawing in a limited time.
My therapist cancelled on me and I'm sad and Booba helps so today I'm gonna teach you how to color booba for when you feel sad
Will I get flagged for this? 😿
My notes on how to draw a portrait
Anatomy. The human body 2.
I share the notes I have collected on how to draw a human figure.
Anatomy. The palm of a man.
I share the notes I have collected on how to draw a human hand.

Trying to study Bodily Anatomy (Things like the skeletal system) for two ocs (Matthew Anaya and Alex Miller), So I'm currently using a link called BioDigital Anatomy, it's pretty resourceful but make sure you have good internet.
[don't interact with it if you're uncomfortable with seeing internal structures]
Nothing! Apparently anatomy at 1 AM (after jujitsu) is impossible to resist to. Needles to say the photo was taken the next morning,in which I woke up fresh *ahem* as a rose (that is not doing so well) *cough*
And Katsuki is my model (this time Kiri was my partner in crime) ahaha! ((((we got scold by the Mighty Bakugou))) ups

I wish i had someone who'd discuss human anatomy and history of cities or any other interesting things at the middle of the night..even though i have little to no knowledge regarding any of these things...lol
Wait, actually, WOULD Keith get acne? Since he’s half Galra and all. Be know Jack-all about Daibazzal, but you obviously have
A) scaled Galra
B) fuzzy Galra
C) hella thick skin Galra (looks kind alike whale or seal skin
While Krolia does kinda look like a cross between a fuzzy and thick-skin Galra (probably character design to make her more likeable), so would Keith even have the pores to get acne? Would it be WORSE? Sure he has human DNA but how in the world would that cross over into Galra DNA? Is this a hybrid situation where humans and Galra are similar ENOUGH to procreate and hence their offspring could have acne? They aren’t even the same species, though.
Like, you tell me Galra can have hybrid children with multiple different species of sentient life (with Lotor and his generals as an example alongside Keith), but we get no further expansion beyond:
A) Galra tech responds ENOUGH to their DNA to unlock and start things
B) Marmora blades can respond to their quintessence (or at least for Keith, but that may be because Krolia is a member still)
C) most species have dominant DNA, at least by phenotype
D) they can be clocked on sight by other Galra, but not by others in their species
E) simple DNA scans won’t flag the alien DNA (since Keith managed to make it into what’s basically a military school and probably the hospital a few times without being called out)
F) Galra DNA becomes more obvious after puberty, making them bigger, stronger, and taller (and in Keith’s case, giving him more of Krolia’s hair type than his dad’s, yellow eyes, odd pupils, etc.)
That’s it, and some of the points are more or less pure speculation. Where’s the line in cross-species children? Only humanoids? Obviously it’s not on purpose with how much shit Lotor takes even as Zarkon’s son, so it’s not preservation of their species. But, like, where does it end? Species on Earth can’t cross breed without making sterile offspring, and that’s even if they’re physically compatible enough to finish their tango. It still doesn’t explain why a 50% human and 50% Galra managed to have a kid that looks 100% human, and there’s NO WAY Keith is neurotypical with two entirely separate sets of hard-wired instincts in that brain of his, even if humans are mostly soft-wired.
So, would Keith even be able to have acne? He’s 18 in the beginning, and built like a string bean compared to his adult self (seriously, how long have these guys been out in space? With time dilation Shiro could have been with the Galra for even longer than a year, so how long has it been for people on Earth compared to the Paladins?), so it’s safe to say he was still getting growing pains, so would have had it more before puberty, when he looked far more like his dad than Krolia? Does he have the same sweat mechanisms humans do? He would have to inherit some sort of cool-down system from his parents or he would have roasted like a rotisserie chicken out in the middle of the desert.
Most unrealistic thing about Voltron is that none of them had acne. Like you cannot tell me anyone but Lance put effort into their skin care
This is mostly targeted at Keith and Pidge cause Lance does face masks and shit and Hunk just seems like one of those guys that never gets acne
Ok, so, recently I've been doing research on the different versions of Jason Todd and his life, death, and afterlife for reasons, and I stumbled across the discontinuity that is Jason's autopsy scar.
This post by pluckyredhead and this post by dailyjasontodd explain it pretty well, and when ruminating I realized that there is a perfect, literal explanation sitting in front of our faces.
Jason didn't have an "autopsy" if you mean someone performed postmortem surgery to try and find cause of death. That would have been impossible, since he most likely had a quick and quiet burial to hide his forensic ties to the Robin life.
No, what Jason had was experimental surgery done by the League of Assassins. I'm not an expert, but I think part of the reason Ra's al Ghul had an interest was because Jason came back to life for seemingly no reason. (and if that's not true based on current continuity or whatever, it's my personal headcanon anyway so)
Ra's wanted to figure out what made Jason live again. Part of that process would most undoubtedly include exploratory surgery that mimicked an autopsy, but didn't include permanent harm because they couldn't study what made him live if he was dead, right?
The scar is mostly fanon except for that one Robin variant cover, and most of the cause is to make Jason have more angst over his death and/or to freak out the rest of the Batfamily. But how much more angst would they, specifically Dick and Bruce, have when they realized that wait, Jason didn't have an autopsy, why does he have a scar, and then they find out that he has that Y-shaped scar because a secret league of assassins tried to cut him apart and dissect him to figure out how he was alive?
I don't think they would take that very well, to be honest. Especially if they found out that it was when Jason was catatonic, so no, there was no consent or anesthesia either. (and imagine the nightmares that Jason would have, not just of crawling out of his own grave and the Lazarus pit, but of being dissected alive and being able to do nothing to stop it)
TL;DR Jason Todd has a Y-shaped scar because the League of Assassins tried to dissect him, not because he had an autopsy in Gotham.
