To everyone who was there for final space, please watch Godspeed. A spiritual successor that was crowdfunded and taken shape to be a unique and amazing pilot now available on YouTube. And if you like this pilot, there’s an opportunity to make more.
Olan Rogers has another Kickstarter up called Godspeed: The Series and it has already reached its goal of $100,000.00. But the stretch goals are for more episodes and more content from the creative team and the creator-first studio: Lightfold.
It has been a rough year for animation, but projects like these can’t help but fill me with hope.
Hey, hot take, but if a company decides they no longer want to distribute a piece of media they own the rights to, then they should be legally required to sign the rights back over to the creator.
They shouldn't be allowed to just sit on the IP for the rest of time, especially if they have no intention of ever releasing it again.

Listen, if you haven’t watched Final Space already, do it. Steven Yeun plays a character named Little Cato. This is my favorite line from Little Cato and all I could picture was Keith saying this to someone so I edited this and my friend posted it to her YouTube channel 🤣🤣

Okay what the fuck is happening?
If you haven't heard already, Final Space-a fucking BEAUTIFUL show-has been cancelled because of a company merger. The creator Olan Rogers released a video telling fans about the development and let me tell you I definitely choked up watching that.
Over 3 seasons it covered loneliness, grief, love, and finding family using stunning visuals and delightfully placed humor. The worst part is that the story wasn't done; there is 3 more seasons of plot already conceptualized.
If you haven't seen this show trust me when I say it's worth it. Atm the best we can do is show support.
Below is a petition to the company to renew Final Space. While it might not make a difference in the end, at least we would have tried our best and that's good enough for me.
