I have recently discovered a new crack ship!
Was introduced to this by Brandon Santiago on blusky
Horus - so starting strong, I would think Adora would get along really well with Horus. Unfortunately, I believe that is more a testament to Horus' many masks skill. He would know adora values friends and assessing a situation from every angle of a situation while getting advice and others' opinions. I feel Horus would treat her very similar to how he treats Sanguinius or, more likely, Dorn. When it comes to the heresy, I see Horus going to her and promising her that if he wins, his Imperium will become far more tolerant to peaceful xeno races and reinstate the use of psykers, Adora won't buy it. She's heard these ultimatums before.
Sanguinius- I imagine Adora would be decently close to Sanguinius, but definitely not the closest. They are both decently kind, but I feel besides some tiffs and playful banter/jokes, they really aren't that close
Konrad- Adora despises him with all her heart. Ever since they met, adora wanted nothing more to put him down like a rabid dog. Adora fought for someone like Konrad she knew his evil, and she and her sons would not even dare crusade in the same systems as their maniac cousins and the Night haunter
Lion el Johnson- Adora would probably have a similar relationship to him as leman does. Definitely won't say anything against him but won't seek to spend unnecessary time with him.
Guilliman- Adora would like Guilliman, though she would find him boring. She can't argue with his results and definitely wouldn't mind being in the same room or fighting alongside him. Honestly, I can see Guilliman getting annoyed with Adora after a while.
Leman- I totally see them being very close! Honestly, they he might be her favourite brother, at first anyway. They have very similar demeanour, they both prefer to fight to settle an argument, and they both enjoy cracking jokes as much as cracking skulls. I also feel they would be the ones to spar the most, though not with swords. I see them taking quick jabs and headlocking each other. Though, after Prospero burned, Adora would feel truly betrayed for she loved Magnus as well. She could never look at leman the same way again. She won't turn to Horus' side, but now she keeps leman at arm's length.
Mortarion- Another she would hate. Not as much as Konrad, but still. Morty is too bitter, and his unter vitriol towards psykers goes completely against Adora's close ties to magic, and the sorcerers of Etheria would put her in uter opposition to anti-psyker rhetoric.
Magnus- Magnus would definitely be one of the brothers she sees the most. But not due to their closeness. Magnus would be most fascinated with Etheira's understandings of the warp and would most likely have long deep conversations with head sorceress Castaspella (Yes, that is her name live with it) and Queen Glimmer. Adora would side wholeheartedly with Magnus during the council of Nikea. She would rage against her Father's blatant hypocrisy. And she would try to comfort Magnus in the aftermath.
Lorgar- Adora may be put off by Lorgar's fanaticism, but she wouldn't outright hate him. Just be kinda uneasy around him. She would feel pity for what happened on Monarchia but not truly grasp it. She would be more upset at her father than she would weep for Lorgar
The Twins - I honestly think these two just don't interact much. Adora is a very straightforward and most times brash. Alpharius/Omegon just wages war and behaves so diametrically opposed to how Adora and her crew do those things. Honestly, their nature might remind Adora of Double Trouble and the manipulations of Shadow Weaver.
Corvus- Another I think they would get along fine, but I feel Corvus would deem Adora a little too optimistic. (To be fair, I don't know enough about Corvus to make a statement on this, sorry 🥺)
Dorn- utter ambivalence. She literally has no real opinion on Dorn. Besides, he is good at what he does, and his dry sarcasm goes right over her head.
Perturabo- She would start by seeing Purty as a victim of their father's plan. they wouldn't really interact much, I think. Adora is not a crafter. She's a fighter, a leader, a symbol of unity. She is quite good at making battle plans, but she isn't really a super tactical genius or anything. Eventually, she'd see perty as the spiteful man-child who she just pities.
Angron- She fears him. Maybe if they had met before the nails, it would be a different story. But I could also see an interesting dynamic instead. Adora's powers encompasses the ability to not only heal but restore. She restored life to the Fright Zone and purged Horde Primes' concensus. She brought Catra back to life. So, while I don't think she could heal Angron but I bet she could sooth his pain. Give him relief. It might then cause a very toxic codependency, but I'm okay with that. Cause tragic grimdark.
Vulkan- Another of her favourite brothers, his kindness, and humanity would truly link them. Joking with one another and enjoying life! Their love of their sons. Truly, I think they will get along with each other swimmingly.
Fulgrim- Fulgrim is too fancy for Adora. Adora is not a formal or dressy person. She doesn't really get art. She does value combat and fighting, but she was taught to fight dirty. She isn't one for fancy words. Honestly, Fulgrim's search for perfection and flowery words would remind Adora too much of Horde Prime, in my opinion. I feel a perfect example of this is the Princess Prom episode.
Ferrus Manus- eh, I think this relationship is the same as dorn. They don't really have a lot in common from how I see it.
Jagathai- I feel they would get along decently, but same as Corus, I don't know enough about the Khan to really even make an educated guess.
I'm open to any opinions or your takes! I wanna see if people agree or, at the very least, have their own perspectives!!!
Wrote something so hot I had to jork it out hold on give me some time to finish it
STOP BEING SELF CONSCIOUS ABOUT YOUR CREATIONS STOP SECOND GUESSING WHAT YOU REALLY WANNA DO STOP DEBATING IT'S WORTH. LET YOUR ART SERVE YOU INSTEAD OF THE OTHER WAY AROUND
Oh yeah, my dad. Growing up my mom always said how he and I both had od little mannerisms. Of course I grew up on a farm in a rural place so nobody really took mental health too seriously.
"Therapists are for rich people," my parents always said. And yeah, we were not that.
Anyway, with my current attempts to get a diagnosis, I started to realise that the things my dad and I had in common (Hyperfixations, aversions to certain textures, mimicking nerotypicals.) What's funny is I recently also was taught that autistic people's special intrest can be "People" and that's like my dads second main special interest.
If I had to think of a VERY loose comparison, Kabru comes to mind, though my dad has a much less calculating way about him. He is also the classic autistic stereotype of insanely good at math, excelling in geometry. He also has a ton of other special interests, tractors, antique milk bottles, and also true crime/bio pics/documentaries on groups of different people(though I feel that ties in with his human fascination)
The funniest thing, though, is that me and my dad and I really couldn't be anymore different 🤣 we are the perfect example of "If you meet one autistic person, you have met ONE autistic person)
I'm seriously starting to suspect my mom is autistic and she just doesn't know it yet or is in deep, deep denial, considering the stigma and all the misconceptions/prejudice she has about mental health...
Anyone had a similar experience?
Oooo!!! I'd love to read this!! It sounds so cool!!!!!
Btw, I am trying to write up a fic with 40k OC (finally) and... how do you guys feel about a Thunder Warrior perpetual going to therapy assigned to him by T'au administration? Therapy may or may not go wrong.

we're doomed by the narrative quick let's fuck nasty to subvert it
Okay, here is the first character reference sheet for my comic, "Returning to our Roots"
I present Professor Oliver. He helped develop the first version of animal HRT, and he was also one of the first to try it. Though much to the disapproval of everyone involved as he technically used himself as the first human trials.
He has lived a long while and cares very deeply for his fellow anthro's (known as Fur-splicers to the humans of the world)
He lives in the same apartment building as our main character, Debbie.
It is his disappearance that throws Debbie into the frey. Leaving her to find out the truth behind what it truly means to be an anthro.
22| They/Them|Plural| Hello, I draw stuff from grimdark monsters to wholesome lesbians. (Also, I do NSFW sometimes, so NO MINORS!!!)
