I love these two so much I hate them. I made like 20 different outfits each, I worked on them for like a month and I'm still angry. Aaaaaahhĥehfdj

Gem Lore:

Gem has a special ability "astral projection" her spirit takes on a fox form and leaves her body (yea we making it canon). Humans are unable to see it.

All she ever wished for was to live a peaceful life, have a nice cozy cottage in a forest where she grew up and raise some animals. But she was forced to join the military, and low and behold she was pretty good. Who would have thought that hunting and growing up near monsters would also make you a decent fighter.

That's where she also met Pearl!! They became close rival besties, and then due to unfortunate reasons, they and up betraying one another.

After that Gem runs away from the army and tries to fulfil her dream life, picking up odd jobs which mostly consist of hunting monsters.

One day she finds a strange dirty man in her barn, eating one of her chicken (The audacity). She could just hand him over to the authorities but making him do a free labour, seemed like a better idea.

She teached him the ways of the cottage core life and even took him on a few monster hunts. Due to strange monster activities near the Wilderness they are both hired by the villagers to fix the problem. Who knows what awaits them there...

I didn't know what to do with Etho for a long time, but him being this mysterious almost god like entity that strugles in todays world felt like a vibe. Kitsune can be both good and evil creatures, natural tricksters of the man kind.

For hundreds of years Etho was the best among his kind almost worshipped, but, well...

The world changes quickly. The rumors of his lacking started spreading clashing with his worshippers (fans). To "prove" himself he traveled across the world to achieve godhood (his 9th tail).

Thats how came across Bdubs, wanting to take his core but he embarrassingly lost. He started following Bdubs determined to eat his core (his pride was hurt), however he came to realize that something more interesting is happening within the Wilderness.

I- I did wanted to wait till I have all the Tuff guys designs done, but I was possed. I always see Tango drawn as a blazeborn and since I already have enough whimsical creatures I wanted him to be a human.

I used every fibre of my gay being to create this pathetic angle of a man. I feel like I need to redesign my Bampires now. Like Tango and BigB became my favourite children. I love them, I love them so much.

Lore wise ccwau Tango is currently an accused criminal on the run from the Capital, and meets Bdubs and Etho on the way to Wilderness. He was never outside of the city so he became pretty much depended on them.

Why doesn't BigB have more fanart?? Where's the love for this man? He's like a cryptid that noone talks about. He litterly turned into a creaking amalgamation of horrors and I'm not okay about it.

The delightful thing about Tumblr is that there's such a wide range of the kind of lives people are living, and they'll all update the mundane of their lives. Someone's worst rock bottom looks nowhere as bad as someone's best day ever, and sometimes you're just baffled. You could scroll past a post saying
